Auckland Spring Festival Fair

A city-scale multicultural celebration of the Chinese New Year, bringing communities together through culture, food, performance, and shared traditions.

A Celebration Shared Across Cultures

The Lunar New Year is one of the most widely celebrated cultural festivals in the world, observed across China, Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, and many other Asian countries.
In 2024, the Spring Festival was officially recognised by UNESCO as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
The Auckland Spring Festival Fair brings this shared cultural heritage into the heart of Auckland, creating an inclusive and welcoming festival for people of all backgrounds.
